Grinning like the chesire cat, the vampire lingered in the doorway of her drab doppelganger's room, watching with amused brown eyes as her ex lingered in his current lover's sacred space. Could he really not get enough of her that he had to stalk her room? Touch her things? Hang around her possessions? Obviously, to Katherine, and to anyone else who was not blind, Damon had fallen head over heels for the young woman she twined. He simply could not stay away from her or anything that vaguely held her scent, her touch, her presence and it could make a girl jealous. After all, Katherine had once held Elena's space, had the brothers' worshiping at her alter, and now both could only see the teenager, their precious Elena Gilbert.
"You really can not get enough for her, can you?" she asked, stepping slowly into the human girl's room and looking around with curious eyes. Pictures of family and friends dotted the mirror and you could easily tell where the other woman drew her strength from. Katherine, on the hand, had only herself.
