Alice ignored Rain's annoyed tone as she spoke her name, heading down the stairwell instead. She knew that the other woman would follow, there was no doubt about that. She pulled her gun from her holster, holding it protectively in front of her, ready to target anything that moved or made a sound.
It was much easier navigating her way through the building now that all the lights were on, and it most certainly would make spotting threats easier, but she didn't like the idea that Wesker was sitting there, waiting on them. But what sickened her more was the thought that she and Rain could have turned their backs on him and left, keeping themselves safer but sacrificing this opportunity. Neither of the women really knew what they were getting themselves into, but at this point, Alice didn't give a shit. She wanted to end this, once and for all.
