Rain of course struggled against Alice's grip on her as she tried to calm the other woman down, and waiting until the brunette stopped struggling in her grip to let her go. She knew how hard it hit the other woman that the man whose voice echoed over the PA system was responsible for the death of J.D. and the rest of her team, but now was not the time to lose control of themselves. Alice knew all too well how dangerous it was to let your emotions take a hold of you in these kind of situations. It just wasn't smart.
Alice knew it was stupid, and she knew that there was virtually no way to explain why she thought they should head down to the basement. It could be a trap, and the both of them could be killed, just because of her stupid decision. She just couldn't shake the thought that Wesker was behind absolutely everything that had gone wrong with Umbrella. And there he was, just waiting for them. Alice could feel Rain's eyes on her face, waiting for her to make the decision.
She glanced over at Rain, holding her gaze for a moment before speaking. "We're going down there."
