Alice and Rain stopped in their tracks when a voice came over the loud speakers. Having worked in Umbrella for a considerable time before Umbrella fucked over the entire world, she knew that voice. Chairmen Wesker. Alice's gaze flickered to meet with Rain's, her eyes showing more anger than anything. Rain turned to aim her gun at the closest security camera mounted on the wall. "You've got to be fucking kidding me," she murmured, knowing that she should have figured that someone like Wesker would be behind this. No one else in Umbrella gave a shit about the surviving population, and the only reason that Wesker cared at all was for the purpose of destruction.
Alice wasn't at all surprised at Rain's statement that she was going to shoot the camera out. She figured though, that the brunette would just point and shoot, and let the damn thing be over with, but things weren't so simple with the Latina. She sped over to the camera, holstering her gun, actually jumping at the damn thing. Alice followed her over, practically having to grab the girl around the waist to get her to stop. "Rain, stop, calm down," she said, knowing all too well how her friend felt about everything Umbrella had done to fuck them over. "Don't give him the satisfaction," she said to the brunette, still attempting to calm her down. She was sure though that Rain would have none of it, and push herself away from Alice as soon as she was given the opportunity.
Now that Wesker was involved though, Alice wasn't sure what all about their plan would change. No matter whether he was in the building and watching them or not, Alice still needed access to Umbrella's computer systems and their satellite grids. There was no way that she was going to go any longer being tracked by them, practically on a leash. She was sick of it, and was determined to put an end to it.
