Tuki Paradise is set on a picturesque island off of the coast of the United States. Those who come to the island stay for the luxury and the safety of knowing they are free to be themselves.
The tension in the world regarding superhuman and mutant affairs is high. Anyone with abilities is viewed as different, dangerous. Governments have taken steps to deal with the growing population in their own ways - some seek to isolate and control while others encourage inclusion. But even the most inclusive countries could not guarentee safety and happiness for the mutant population. No place could.
Until now.
Welcome to Tuki Paradise. The brainchild of Edison Dupont, founder and CEO of Haven Corp, it was designed as a refuge to keep anyone with differences safe from persecution or judgement. A large expanse of land and jungle that house the many that arrive daily seeking shelter and security from the people they once knew as friends and allies.
A large resort hotel accommodates the guests. All amenities are provided free of charge. Rooms are comfortable, clean, and sport a view of the island that gets better every floor that you ascend. Shops line the thoroughfare in town. A plethora of activities vary and are available to guests at any time.
Of course, for the safety of all, a security presence acts as a deterrent for displays of power and any dissatisfaction is encouraged to be reported at Guest Services.

This is a supernatural/abilities based game where having a power is looked at as not acceptable in the Modern Day views of the world. To escape judgement and persecution, Haven Corp. offers a solution to those who have been identified as having powers the opportunity to seek refuge on an island that it manages. The island itself has been around for around six years, which allows characters to have return on their investment and get established.
Guests can pay for items using an unbreakable bracelet that they are given upon arrival. It can be used to enter rooms, as well, to send messages to other Guests and to alert Guest Services of any issues or needs.
Unbeknownst to the guests, they are each given a small chip upon entering the island that is not able to be removed. The chips themselves are placed underneath the skin, not visible to the naked eye, and allow any guards to detain or shock a guest at any time for disobeying the rules about power usage. This is done only when necessary and should be discussed among any players involved prior to using.
This community is also lax on the rules that regard ability but any abuse of those abilities will cause prompt removal from the game if resolution cannot be reached. Guests are free to move about the island, obtain jobs at certain locations if they would like, or simply enjoy the relaxed pace of the island. Guests are allowed to apply for a small leave - this can be anywhere between a weekend or up to an entire week. Not all requests are granted and it’s first come first serve. To stay in line with the context of the game I would like to ask that no characters go rogue without Moderator permission; all guests with chips are easy to track and apprehend if they violate the travel rules so it wouldn’t be a challenge to locate them.
