Who: Anne and Thomas What: Discussing the next move in his plot for Anne to win the King's love, and get rid of Wolsey Where: The gardens at Hever When: A few days after Henry's visit
Anne had spent a few days in bed gaining the remaineder of her strength back. But, she could only take being in bed for so long and had finally called for her maid to help her dress. She needed some fresh air and going to go for a walk in the gardens. It was a cool day, but not so cold she would need to worry about getting sick again. She dressed, and put on a light coat before heading outside. The fresh air smelled so good, and the breeze on her skin helped to bring color back to her pale cheeks.
She took a path that wound close to the house, just in case she should feel weak again and need help. She was smiling as she walked, her thoughts filled with the King's latest visit. She could hardly believe it, but she believed she had actually fallen in love with him. It was easy enough to do. She was quite lost in her thoughts, and barely missed running right into her father as she rounded a conor. "Oh, father!" She exclaimed, giving him a curtsy. "Forgive me, I did not see you."
