(No worries :))
She couldn't be afraid in her line of work. Fear meant not getting to the bottom of a story. Fear meant never getting the whole truth, and Lois couldn't afford to be afraid. Her father had raised her to fight for what she believed in and assured her that she never had to feel fear. But she was human, and she was afraid sometimes. She was afraid of being alone, of dying..normal human fears. But this...this was exhilarating.
She didn't cling to him, either. Her body was relaxed as she held on and flew with him. Her blue eyes looked all around, taking in everything. She gazed at the city below, and admired its beauty from that height. Everything seemed so tiny and busy, like a colony of ants.
Lois also admired Superman's expression. He seemed to enjoy flying despite probably having done it his whole life. It was rare to find someone that actually enjoyed repetition, and who could still find wonder in small things.
When her feet settled on the rooftop of The Daily Planet, Lois beamed and pulled back from the hero. Her hero. "Thank you..for taking me flying." She said, hoping it wasn't the last time he would take her.
Her heart raced for so many reasons, and she stood almost in a melted puddle at this mans very feet. But she was better than that, so she nodded. "I'll make sure it does you proper justice, Superman." She said in a breath. But she would.
