She was a little afraid. Humans usually didn't get to go around on flights of that kind, and it was strange. But it was also quite a thrilling idea. The reporter part of her wanted to know every detail, while the human part of her wanted to just take things slow because they were new. Often her reporter side won.
She nodded at him, lifting her arms slowly to curl around his strong neck as she was pulled closer. Her body pressed gently against his and she waited to see how it would start. Takeoff. Was it like a bird? Simply lifting into the air? Or like a plane? Starting with a run?
She moved with him to the edge of the roof, and suddenly she found herself absently clinging to him as they lifted up from the roof of the building. She took a moment to adjust once they were floating higher and higher, leaving the city below behind for the stars in the sky.
"Oh my..." She breathed, looking around at the sky as he flew with her, instantly glad he had offered. She held on to him gently, but right enough so she wouldn't simply fall away, and closed her eyes for a moment to get a feel for be experience itself. She had never felt anything like this before and she was going to keep it all to herself. None of the boys in the bullpen would believe this anyway!
