Lois noticed the relaxation that settled over his features, as well as his face. Her eyes were sharp and she couldn't miss a face like his. Especially when it came to expression. She took a breath to settle her heart, as it raced faster than ever in reaction to him being at ease. She wasn't sure exactly why she was feeling these things. She pushed it aside, though, as her story was more important than what she was feeling. Especially for a man that was probably not even the slightest bit interested in her. He could probably have any woman in the world, or the Universe for that matter. Why would he want Lois Lane? Plain old reporter.
"We appreciate that. I think every city needs a hero sometimes." She replied with a nod. "Do you think you'll move on once the city is safer?" She had to know. If he was going to leave after his work was done, she couldn't stop him nor would she blame him. She definitely would try to make him stay, but again he was much stronger and probably faster than she was. Nobody could make a man like that do what they wanted.
