She didn't catch the flush of color that had entered his cheeks. The sky was too dim for her to notice the change, but she was glad that he responded well to the joke she'd made. Of course part of her may have been serious.
"You were raised well then." She replied, making a mental note of that. For a hero type he sure seemed polite and humble. It was a stark contrast to what she'd pictured before he'd come to Metropolis. It was honestly quite nice. It made the event worth her time. She wasn't sure exactly what wouldve happened if he was rude or snobby. She probably wouldve lost interest completely.
At the mention of a last interview, Lois' eyes widened and she scrambled through her purse. In a moment, after a good amount of digging, Lois retrieved her tape recorder and held it up.
"That would be perfect! And thank you for coming to me first!" She said, trying not to seem overly excited.
She held up the recorder, and pressed the button to record, before speaking out loud. "This is Lois Lane. It's six ten PM and I am talking to the newest edition to Metropolis. Superman. Say hello, please?" She said, holding the recording device towards him.
