The sound of her unique magic might have sent a shiver down his spine, or maybe it was the way she'd attempted to insult him and failed. Either way, he was grinning when he stood up and watched her. She looked beautiful under this light--under any light really, but this light in particular. Because he hadn't seen her in far too long.
"Pandora," he told her, as if it was that simple. "This is the House of Mystery, yeah? And she trapped us here with her Box. Doesn't want us to touch it though, tha's the kicker right there. Strange bird, that one."
He looked Zatanna over, admiring her without shame. "Now, full disclosure, I've managed to merge a few of my multiverse selves," John told her. It was something he hadn't admitted to anyone else yet here, but he trusted her. Especially since she knew to never trust him. "Be helpful if you told me where you're from? Or we could always touch and see what sparks fly. Different sorts of connections and all that..." He offered her his hand, holding it out towards her.
