Remus was very close to snapping. It was quite clear when his quill had written in large letters before underlining the word 'Stop' to James, Sirius and Nymphadora. He felt as if he was being pulled in two very different directions. He was being pulled backwards by the Marauders, who he wanted back in his life, but very clearly in his plans for the future. And his future involved Nymphadora. He was being pulled by the past and the future, making his present one very big, frustrating headache.
Tossing the journal away, he made his way out of the living room to his bedroom in search of Dora. When he spotted her with her journal in her hands, he walked over to her, before pulling the journal abruptly from her hands. He didn't give her a chance to question him, instead meeting her lips promptly with his own.
He was done with the drama.
At least for tonight. And tonight he had plans to enjoy his present with his future. His hand moved up into Dora's hair, kissing her with longing and passion and a hint of roughness that was close only to intensity of a night prior to the full moon.
