Who: Ginny & Harry What: It's not a stomach bug, again... Where: Their cottage. When: Saturday late afternoon/evening, after this. Warnings: Probably not high. Status: In progress.
Ginny was happy that Harry was getting to spend time alone with his father, and there wasn't any way she was going to spoil that. He needed this time, just the two of them without anyone else there, without any interruptions. And besides, what they needed to discuss and figure out could wait, right? Right. Because Ginny wasn't even sure if the way she'd been feeling the past couple days was because of what she thought it was. Okay, so the smell of onions was making her sick, exactly like it had always made her sick during her pregnancy with Jamie. And yeah, so she'd gone into the kitchen and found the two onions she'd gotten at the grocers, and her stomach's reaction to them was pretty much exactly the same as it had been a little less than two years ago. But maybe... onions just smelled bad. And maybe the fatigue she had lately was just stress and an inability to sleep.
Or maybe not. The truth was, if they'd been at home, she would have been excited by these things. She and Harry had decided a couple months ago that they wanted to try for a second child, and the fact that she thought she might be pregnant probably would have caused her to tackle him in a hug with how overjoyed she was. But now? Here, stuck in this place? She wasn't sure if it was good or bad... if it were true. She needed Harry here so they could figure it out together, because as much as a part of her still wanted to be excited, another part of her kept remembering where they were, and getting worried.
Either way, she had to wait for Harry to finish his time with his father and she didn't mind. She and Jamie had taken a nice nap together in her and Harry's bedroom and though their son was still sleeping, Ginny had moved down in the living room, resting on the couch with a book in her lap. The moment she heard the sound of Harry coming into the room though, she looked up and gave him a warm (if just slightly tired) smile. "Hey, love. How did it go? I thought I heard you guys earlier, but I was napping."
