He was looking for Harry when he was suddenly no longer surrounded by the loud noises. He was apparently in Hogsmeade. That made no sense. The fuzziness hadn't either, but it had cleared up, which meant there was no problem here. No problem at all. Not with the fuzziness. The problem laid with the fact that he was not at Hogwarts anymore, which meant he'd somehow come to be out of Hogwarts.
The strange creature at the fence answered none of his questions...but what was that thing? It wasn't a Dementor. It was cold out, but not cold enough to warrant Dementors. Well, not the right cold, really. In fact, it was just the cold that came with fall. That didn't make sense, though. It also didn't help that he was improperly dressed for chilly weather.
"Harry?" He supposed it couldn't hurt to go searching for him. Maybe he could go up to Hogwarts and make sure everything was alright. Harry would still be at Hogwarts! Right? Turning that way, Colin hummed to himself and practically ran to the gate at Hogwarts. There was a problem. There was no fighting. Colin would have been able to see if there was. "Where's Harry? Where's the battle? Where's everyone?"
Perhaps it was wrong to pout at the lack of a battle, but none of it made sense. After wandering around the grounds to be sure, Colin frowned and made his way back to Hogsmeade, reading over the scroll in his hands. "I don't want a new home," he muttered, nose wrinkling at the words on the page. "I want Justin." His lower jaw shook for a moment and he sat down, wrapping his arms around himself.
It was another minute or two before his eyes lit up again. Maybe Justin was here! Maybe everyone was here! Maybe he'd just been petrified and the war was over and everything was back to normal...only that didn't make sense. Did that mean he'd missed turning seventeen? Perhaps someone in the stores would know something. Someone had to know something.
