Molly Weasley was still getting used to waking up in the morning and looking out onto the Paradise instead of the land around The Burrow. Even considering that it had been a shock to wake up this morning to a dusting of white powder on the ground and more still falling from the cloudy skin. Snow in October? Well she supposed anything could happen here... After she and Arthur had eaten breakfast together they had bundled up in their warm cloaks and headed over to their new place of employment, the Three Broomsticks. It had been cold when they arrived but after building up the fires the place was now toasty and warm, a good respite from the chill outside.
Along with the warm cozy air was the smell of Molly's cooking wafting out of the kitchen; potato soup mingling with home-baked fudge brownies and the spice of Molly's apple cider. Molly herself stood in the kitchen and pursed her lips to blow a strand of red hair out of her face. After putting down one more strip of dough, she brushed her hands down her pale pink apron, leaving streaks of flour behind. On the apron was better than on her purple robes after all! She was in the middle of baking a nice apple pie for whoever decided to come in out of the cold, as she was sure someone would do. Even if they didn't then she and Arthur would eat it on their own tonight. She hoped someone would come by though and not just because she enjoyed feeding people. Cooking kept her distracted but cooking and conversation was even better.
Just then she heard the sound of the front door opening and Molly looked up through the large window between the kitchen and the bar. Smiling, she called out warmly to whomever it was. "Hello!"
