Following their meeting with Princess Thayet, Alanna almost stormed back to the Agrinot, not caring whether Jonathan followed or not. Apparently he wanted someone more feminine. It hadn't been that long ago that he'd seemed so excited to find out they were together in her time. Maybe she should have realized that he was just at that age where any girls were tempting.

Frown deepened. She just wasn't as pretty as Thayet. She never would be. And she certainly wouldn't be as feminine as her. Ever. The door to her room slammed open. Damnit, Jon.
