All of the people killed during the Battle of Hogwarts on May 1 have now been identified.
50 people were killed in the battle at the Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry, and many more were injured. The Ministry for Magic has finally confirmed the full list of casualties, which includes students, private citizens believed to be members of the Order of the Phoenix, Ministry employees, Hogsmeade residents, and Death Eaters.
Chief amongst these casualties is He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named, who the Daily Prophet can now reveal is an individual once known as Tom Riddle.
Dozens of people are still in St Mungo’s, which is reported to be at capacity while those imprisoned in Azkaban also receive medical treatment and evaluation.
THE CASUALTY LIST
Felix Chambers, 17, Oxford, Ravenclaw 6th year, was a Beater for the Ravenclaw Quidditch team and son of Charles Chambers, PR representative of the Wimbourne Wasps.
Sophie Roper, 18, Lancaster, Gryffindor 7th year, was a member of the Hogwarts choir.
Eloise Midgen, 17, Edinburgh, Hufflepuff 7th years, was a member of the Hogwarts choir.
Hugh Harper, 17, Liverpool, Slytherin 6th year, was formerly a prefect, Seeker for the Slytherin Quidditch team and son of John Harper, former Seeker for the Wigtown Wanderers.
Mallory Pips, 16, Tinworth, Hufflepuff 6th year, was formerly a prefect and daughter of Gloria Pips of the Daily Prophet.
Pansy Parkinson, 18, Cambridge, Slytherin 7th, was formerly a prefect, and daughter of Ignatius Parkinson, member of the St Mungo’s Board of Directors.
Joanna Runcorn, 18, Appleby, Gryffindor 7th, was formerly a prefect and Beater for the Gryffindor Quidditch team.
Seamus Finnigan, 17, Killarney, Gryffindor 7th, was formerly a prefect and member of the Hogwarts choir.
Vincent Crabbe, 17, Slytherin 7th, was a Beater for the Slytherin Quidditch team.
Simon Vaisey, 17, Slytherin 6th, was a Chaser for the Slytherin Quidditch team.
Fred Weasley, 20, co-founder and co-owner of Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes.
Remus Lupin, 38, werewolf and former DADA professor at Hogwarts, He is survived by his son, Edward Lupin.
Nymphadora Lupin (nee Tonks), 25, metamorphmagus and Auror. She is survived by her son, Edward Lupin.
Carlos Santiago, 43, former mediwizard for the British and Irish Quidditch League.
James Hooper, 40, postmaster of the Diagon Alley Owl Post Office. He is survived by his sons Geoffrey and Ethan Hooper, and daughter Delia Hooper.
Adelaide Perks, retired. Adelaide is survived by her son George Perks, and his children Sally-Anne and Sara-Jane Perks.
