"Liar," the Master replied, voice mild and un-accusing. He hadn't really expected the Doctor to leave him alone in the other's rooms, but he had hoped. It was a bit disappointing, he had to admit, knowing that if he'd been one of the Doctor's humans the other would have at least tried to remove them, no matter how futile the exercise was, but apparently had no problems leaving him to his own devices in dealing with the matter. Not that he would have thought to offer if their positions were reversed but wasn't the Doctor supposed to be the good one? He decided to test the theory. "It helps, you know," he said after a long silence. "Sharing them, with you. Didn't help with Lucy," he frowned a bit at the memory, "no matter how much of them she tried to take they were all there in my head at full force but sharing them with you… perhaps they're engineered for Time Lords alone. I don't know," he said, rubbing his forehead. "I have a bit of a headache, Doctor. Do you by any chance have an aspirin or two I could take?" he asked, tone deceptively light.
