The Master slowly turned to glare at him, reaching into his own pocket and pulling out his laser screwdriver and waving it in front of the Doctor. "You don't really think you can keep me here with that, do you?" he asked, tone heavy with skepticism. "I'm not one of your little human pets, Doctor; I am as capable as you, no matter what you think of me." He straightened a bit, jaw set defiantly, and met his eyes, completely unwilling to back down. "I came to you," he agreed, "because you are the only other one here who might be able to assist me in figuring out what this," he tapped his forehead, "is. I am not the one who came here," he grinned and swept his arms out and twirled in a slow circle to indicate the whole island then dropped both his arms and the smile as he acidly continued, "nor am I the one who ensured I would be able to. What did you do, Doctor? Who did you strike a deal with to get me. here?"
