If you're a part of this asylum, chances are you know Dat Feel for finding that perfect eyeshadow or lipstick or nail polish or whatever that you've been searching for. I've been looking for a brown nail polish forever that suits me forever and as of last week found it in Orly's Buried Alive (not my hand). Dark, deep brown with warmer undertones - seeing as try as I like to wear tons of black I can't pull off cool tones all that well - and shimmer. I. Am. In. Love. And once I find a perfect dark plum nail polish, will be flippin' set for fall and winter. IE, totally already have plans for using this new shade, my new gold glitter detailing polish and a few other select colors to do fallen leaves nail art!
Now that I rambled far too long about a single nail polish, I actually do have a question. Does anyone have any tips and tricks for wearing matte polish? I didn't even realize China Glaze's Stone Cold (still not my hand) was a matte until I got home with it, even though I tried a bit of it on my nail before...? I don't know, but it lead to me deciding I loved matte, buying a few more colors of it and then quickly growing bored with it. I've not really messed around with it that much since then, but has anyone had any major success with trying out any sort of nail art featuring mattes? I feel so BORING to just have plain painted nails in one polish with matte, just have no idea how to mix it up past that!
