I do sorta feel bad, though, because in my mind, it's like, "That $100 could've gone towards my $500 suitcase!?!? D:" or if it's because something broke, then I feel sorta bad adding more waste.
Lucky! I don't mind dragging my carry-ons; I just like being able to spin it easily if needed, especially with tighter spots/bigger crowds. I used a cheap carry-on on two separate trips, and one time, the lining kinda fell off the side and one of the locks broke recently, and I had to buy a lock at the airport because it was a flight with a free checked luggage, and I was on my way home, so I was too lazy to separate out my liquids. It's serviceable, but I'd rather not have to deal with that. I usually fly, so I want something that for sure is under 9" wide.
