"Dad." James muttered, still digging for an envelope.
"Oh, right. Sorry, James."
The younger man turned to his mother after finally finding what he was looking for. "Yeah, mum. I think tomorrow afternoon." He then walked over to Lily and smiled. "Here you are, Lily." As James handed her the envelope, his hand touched hers, and he bit back a pleased smile.
