James muttered a quick apology, reading her body language easily. He was still getting use to being able to touch her, and his heart leapt in his throat. He pulled her close to him, propping his chin on top of her head affectionately.
"Now? Well, I guess we just take it slow, yeah? It's not like we have to rush things." He pulled back and looked in her eyes again, his tone more quiet and he whispered, "And, you know... Just laying it out there that... I'm not going to pressure you into anything. I mean, not with anything you don't want to do. If I get too... If I get too fresh, let me know, yeah?" He shook his head. "Ah, sorry I'm babbling."
