THREE MUGGLE FAMILIES KILLED IN WALES
By Elissa Roberson, Junior Reporter
Three Muggle families from Wales were killed by means of the Cruciatus Curse late Monday night, as reported by Auror Rathbone Rackham. The families were all found in the woods outside Cardiff, with a Dark Mark in the sky above them. The Death Eaters responsible for this tragedy are not yet known, but Alastor Moody, head of the Auror Department, reassures the public that there are leads on the case.
“The lot of ‘em have a hideout somewhere, and in time, it will be found,” he says.
Nothing has yet been reported on the identities of the Muggle families, and whether or not any of them have connections to the Wizarding world. “We think that these Muggles were chosen randomly,” says Moody, “and so it is entirely possible that they know nothing about us. All the same, anyone who may have information regarding these deaths should report into the Auror office immediately.”
Two of the families had young children, while the third family was a middle-aged couple. Though none of the bodies showed signs of torture, there is currently no information on them.
Citizens of the Wizarding world are warned to keep a lookout for Death Eater activity and to keep in touch with their families. Futher news as the story develops.
