Gwen smiled at him, glad to have a little morning conversation. It was nice to speak to someone who wasn't her brother or one of his many conquests that passed in and out of the house on a near constant basis on his off days. She loved her brother, she really did, but some of those women were just... well, her mother always told her if she couldn't find something nice to say it was better to just leave it at nothing. And that was exactly what those women were; nothing.
"They make a wonderful croissant," she told him. "And they can serve it with fresh fruit. Not a huge breakfast, but it's really filling. Or you could replace the fruit with an omelet which are also really good," she added. "Actually, an omelet does sound lovely to me," she admitted, turning back to the barista. The coffee shop didn't have a huge selection of breakfast foods, but omelets were better than some of their pastries and other little items they offered. Ordering one with cheese, ham and assorted peppers along with a croissant, she then turned her attention back to the man.
"Guess I made myself hungry," she laughed, offering out a hand. "Gwendolyn," she told him. "Nice to meet you."
