Since his day out with Fisher, or rather treeclimbing in the grounds, Will had felt comforted but also tired. He wasn't good when he was tired. After removing his make up at around 10, he showered and made sure he smelt nice before he put on his fresh pyjama pants and snuggled under the covers, darkness consuming the room save for a tiny sliver of light from the gap in the curtains. He was silent. He could hear movement in the rooms next to him as others prepared for bed. People meandered down the hallway. It was only when he couldn't hear any life at all that Will quietened, listening to his own breathing.

He may have dropped off to sleep for a while, because he didn't notice his visitor enter the room.
