Characters: Andromeda and Garett Setting: Garett's Flat, Wizarding London / 3pm Wednesday Summary Tea!
Garett adjusted and readjusted his tie. Did he need a tie? Garett checked his watch and noticing he still had time, pulled off his tie to test it. He didn't want to be too dressed up, particularly when he had no idea what she would be wearing. How long had it been since he had seen her? Garett could barely remember, and after once again wrapping the tie around his neck, he discarded the tie all together and jogged down the stairs to locate his shoes. At least there was never a question on shoes - the nicer, the better.
Sitting on the edge of his couch to tie his shoes, Garett surveyed his flat. There was really no need to tidy up, as he kept his home immaculate. For a moment, he considered dirtying up a bit. Andromeda had a child now, perhaps she wasn't too inclined to such neatness. Shoes tied, Garett leaned forward and spread out the neat stack of magazines on his coffee table. There. That would do it.
Heading to the kitchen, Garett left his journal open in case Andromeda decided she would not take tea with her former betrothed. Either way, he would be having tea. Swirling warm water around the teapot, Garett watched his kettle, the whistle starting to build. "I'm not picky about my tea," he mimed, shaking his head. "As I know how she takes her tea. It isn't as if we sip a cuppa every afternoon and catch up." Garett, to be safe, gathered all of his different types of teas onto a tray, and once the teapot was filled, added the pot and two cups. After fetching cream and sugar, Garett carried the entire tray to his living room.
Garett checked his watch again. Three. He'd just get started without her. He didn't want to look too eager, which was really exactly how eager he was.
