    Let me put it this way. Go to the archive and go to Keely's works and read any of them and I guarantee you will have a good time. I have not read a single thing from Keelywolfe that I have not enjoyed. Her stuff is always entertaining and worth the trip down the archive. This story, as my last rec on [info]tpm_flashback, keeps with my 'Reality-check Wednesday' theme. Told in Obi-Wan's point of view, it is a tortured-soul fic filled with anguish-ridden carnality at it's finest. Keely is a true artist at writing this kind of dark passion and this little gem of a fic will prove it to you.

    "Call, and Raise You One" by Gloriana

    Here's my penultimate Monday rec. Sorry I'm a bit late, just got back from vacation.

    Reasons for recommending: Qui-spanking. Hot, sizzling, erotic, totally in character, drool-inducing, enthralling - and did I mention hot - Qui-spanking. Droool.
    What, you need more? Why?
    But ok. This is Gloriana, which means it's got a fascinating psychological component as well as sizzling hot sex. What I found especially interesting about the story was that for one, it was unclear up to a point whether Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan are already lovers or not. Secondly, at first the concept of Obi-Wan disciplining Qui-Gon because he'd been 'naughty' was a bit strange, yet it topples over into amazingly hot very fast, and the change of perception is done subtely, the moment where punishment turns to sex, a vaguely odd situation into a deeply erotic one, is masterly.
    Plus, any story that puts a naked Qui-Gon over Obi-Wan's knee and has him spanked with a hairbrush and manages to make this neither ludicrous nor out of character deserves to be recommended as many times as possible.
