She had not had much to do with introductions - as the only daughter of her family she had been in the public eye since her birth and since there had been no older sisters to be married off first she hadn't felt the need for a formal introduction to society.
"Oh, it's simply a mixture of good breeding and time. Once you've been here for a year or so you'll find it becomes so much easier." Patience said, feeling rather delighted to be asked her advice on such a matter.
