"As do I." And she really had him on the human nature part. His whole life was a lie, his whole identity. He had, on occasion, even forgotten his own name, forgotten his family. It was scary, being someone else. But he tried his best to make up for it.
Humbled a little and calming down, he blinked a few times before he attempted to reply again. "I am sorry for my carelessness in tripping you. I am not sorry that we met, nor sorry I gave you a compliment - nor am I sorry that I called you a name, or that you chose to take it the way you did. I do however, hope you enjoy the rest of your day without much delay on account of me."
