Edith glanced over at Nell and frowned. "That's no reason not to let others spoil you, dear," she said simply. "After all, there's nothing better than receiving gifts, no matter how wealthy you are." Or at least, that's what Edith believed, as she knew all about being spoiled.
Smiling she turned her attention back to the younger boy. "Of course," she said gently, which was hard for her, as she was a very loud person usually. "Are you new to London, pet?" she asked curiously. This was all working out better than she had planned. Perhaps the boy could be of some use to her.
