Demetri didn't respond right away. He knew about Nell already; he'd been careful not to say anything but he also didn't put anything past 'Mr. Jones' either. He'd known that he visited the Theatre, it couldn't have been hard finding his name.
He watched as the other sat down and he still glared at him, emotions under the surface. "Not as expensive as some things. You stay away from him. He's done nothing wrong, and I doubt you want to mess with his boss either."
"It couldn't be helped." Putting his hands together, Demetri stared at the other man. Would this never end? Alexandre was gone because of him and he was still paying for it. If he hadn't gone to Lord Wexley's funeral, he wouldn't have been late, but there would have been far too many questions. "It wouldn't be the first time," Demetri said, his voice void of emotions. "And there is nothing little about the favours, 'Mr Jones'."
