Ella Wexley: note left for Daphne Item: A note slipped under Daphne's door sometime before dawn. Warnings: none Open to: Daphne, John and anyone else who might be at the Wexley home
Daphne, my dearest sister,
I know that things are strange and unhappy for you now with Father gone, and I feel it is my sisterly duty to ease your emotional pain as best I can. I realise this note, and my actions, will upset you terribly at first, but know that my intentions are good and the outcome will heal your heart tenfold.
I have found it necessary to take a trip to London on a personal mission. It is of the utmost importance to us both, but I cannot reveal what it is for fear of spoiling the surprise.
Please do not think ill of me, Daphne, but wish me the best of luck in my endeavour!
