"I'm sure you're doing wonderfully," she replied, releasing his arm as they entered the library. She held his own gifts out in offering, trading packages. His gift was wrapped in blue paper, with a white ribbon-- she smiled as she saw the matching colors.
"I'm sure I'll love it," she said. "I had a little trouble deciding on what to get you, so I hope you like it." Once they had traded, she moved to take a seat on a nearby chair, then carefully unwrapped her gift, a smile lighting up her face as she found the earrings inside. "Oh, Charlie, they're beautiful! I love them!"
