Subject: The start of a very advantageous relationship.
Where: Rolsten Manor
Who: Lady Elizabeth Darling, Charles Hurst, & Lady Darling [Elizabeth's older sister, NPC]
Warnings: N/A
Open to: Charles Hurst
There was a letter that said they would have a visitor at noon. Charles Hurst. Elizabeth did know him, though only by social events. Which hardly warranted a true knowledge of a person. Regardless of all the gossip a girl could learn via the other ladies and questionable gentlemen. Elizabeth knew his father, and mother. The latter being quite the... talkative woman. Both of their families were of high standins, and Elizabeth was even a Lady of her own right. While her brother would earn the title of Marquess, she did not mind just being a Lady. While she did not mind it, it was safe to say she was appreciative of the life she lived. Instead of making the maids do all the work Lizzie would help around the house.
So when she realized she had an hour until noon came around, her sister helped her into a prettier dress. A flattering light pink satin, with lace in the right places, and a dash of a dangerous red in the most fantastic of places. Her hair was up, as was per the fashion, and due to some pinching, her cheeks were a shade or two brighter.
Her sister instructed the butler to wait at the door for Charles, so he would not have to wait long. While the two of them would sit in the tea-room. Lizzie's sister suspected that it would be very advantageous for the two to talk, but could not in any form of conscience let them speak alone unchaparoned.
