Subject: A heartfelt goodbye

Who: Joséphine Molyneux and Antoine Laurent
Warnings: N/A
Open to: Antoine Laurent
Joséphine hated this part of the evening, not because the sun filtered through her curtains into her home temporarily blinding her, or because it was a notoriously slow time. The reason she hated it was because she never knew if Antoine would show that evening or not. He did well, sending her missives when he couldn't arrive, but there was always a deep fear that churned her gut that one day she would hear no word from him, and he would be gone.
Clasping her hands tightly on her lap, Joséphine turned from the window, smoothing out the bottom of her dress as she waited.
