I had hoped, although I understand that you are too busy, that you would come and see me at my London offices. I had something that I wished to show you, but of course, it will wait for a time when we have more leisure available to us, instead of duties.
Lord Hurst? I have indeed heard of him, but merely for his fortune and luxurious lifestyle. If you do indeed become his companion (and although it pains me, I do hope for you and your family's sake, I hope that you do) I do not doubt that you will be rewarded just as you and your brother hope to be.
My only worry, perhaps unfounded, is that once titled, I shall be even more lowly and undeserving of your affections, no matter how much I return them or hope to be with you.
