The corners of Evan's mouth twitched as Jared seemed to struggle a little with what to do next. It wasn't the first time Evan had seen Jared's self confidence waver, though it was rare. And it was kind of fascinating for Evan to witness it, from an objective stand point, because Evan was a walking public service awareness poster for self doubt.
He kept his gaze steady, despite his usual aversion to maintaining eye contact, he held Jared's gaze. He felt it was important right then, that while Evan would shy away from such an intense gaze, he felt it would give Jared a boost of confidence. And then he was tugging his shirt up and off, tossing it aside, with the light still on, and Evan felt a surge of heat rush his entire body, tingling in his fingertips and toes and everywhere in between.
At Jared's flippant comment, saying how lucky Evan was to be getting 'all of this', Evan sought Jared's hands with his, lacing and twining their fingers. Evan shifted, moved to straddle Jared, his knees in line with Jared's hips. He looked down at him, a devious smirk touching his lips. He pinned Jared's hands down on the bed, up by his head, and leaned in, leaning fully over Jared. He kissed the other boy's lips but quickly moved down and away, kissing the soft spot under his bottom lip, down to his chin, along his jaw to his ear. He nipped Jared's earlobe and kept moving, kisses spreading across his neck and throat in turn, as his body wiggled a little, moving down against Jared's legs, and giving him a little more leverage to kiss down to Jared's chest.
He might never have done anything like this before, but Evan was nothing if not a fast learner. As long as he didn't have to articulate what he was doing, he could do anything. And he had the added benefit of the alcohol burning in his veins. He felt invincible. More than that, he felt safe here with Jared. He trusted that Jared would tell him to stop if he didn't like what Evan was doing. He trusted that Jared would guide him if he needed a little nudge in a different direction.
