Thread: The Amazing Race Auditions (Open to All)
Characters: Open to All!
NPCs: The Amazing Race Casting Team
Location: Stark School, Auditorium
Timeline: November 9th, 2012
Description: The day of auditions has come. Time to show CBS your stuff!
Rating: PG to PG-13
OOC: If you want to say your character was missing information, they are NOT getting in there. Period.
The bus with the students who wanted to audition left Xavier’s on time. There were some others toox. People who wanted to “cheer on” their friends, and those that used that excuse to hide their real motives. To try to wiggle an audition in there, even if they were missing some of that vital information. Accompanying them was Sage and Dr. MacTaggert, neither of which looked thrilled to be there. Regardless, they were asked by Xavier to go, and the two of them did their duty as needed. Once they arrived at the school, the students were separated into two groups. Those that were auditioning, and those that were not.
In the Stark school’s auditorium sat a group of about five or six people. They’d flown in from California earlier that day on behalf of CBS and The Amazing Race. Their job was to decide who they would take and who wouldn’t make the cut. It was a hard job, but somebody had to do it. It helped that it paid well.
Before them was a desk and on the desk were a number of files with pictures. They had copies of the applications from all the students auditioning and would be looking over all of them when they saw each student. Just from the pictures and applications alone, they seemed to like quite a few select applications already. But they weren’t going to make their final choice until they actually saw the kids for themselves. Sometimes what looked good on paper didn’t cut it for the television screen.
When they felt ready, the lead casting director looked at Dr. Strange who stood near the auditorium door and said, “Send the first one in.”
