Characters: Quentin Beck & Remy LeBeau Location: Stark Medical Bay Timeline: Not Long after this.[Backdated Slightly] Description: Quentin has run out of people who tolerate him...except Remy, and goes to visit him/play cards. Rating: TBD? Quentin swears.
There weren't many people left at these two school that Quentin liked. Actually, he was pretty sure there weren't any people left who liked him. He got along...alright with Peter Parker and that twerp turned out to be Spider-Man! God he wished he could say that out loud! It was a stupid secret he was trying to keep. He wanted to blab. Tell anyone who would listen. Blast it across the internet and ruin Peter Parker and Spider-Man in one fell swoop...if it didn't go both ways. Parker knew he was Mysterio too. Which totally sucked ass! If he outed Peter as Spider-Man, then he'd turn right around and out Q as Mysterio and frankly that involved a lot more jail time. Granted Peter would probably get some too, but for the moment it was a stalemate. Neither had made a move. Spider-Man hadn't even been seen much after that. Mysterio had all but vanished...for a while.
For the moment Quentin decided to distract himself with one of the very few people he actually sort of liked. That crafty Cajun, Remy. They had an...interesting relationship. Not exactly every partnership started off with fooling the other that one was a sexy English girl, which was followed by theft of equipment, then returned in a game of wits, which ended up being Remy's using of Quentin to force him to be pro-mutant, which then lead to Quentin helping Remy steal from a famous jewelry store, then Quentin drugging Remy with a hallucinogenic just weeks after the cajun's romantic entanglement exploded in the sky. Yes...they had an interesting relationship. However....it could always grow...or shrink. Frankly Quentin was uneasy about having a relationship with someone he didn't know how to describe. He wanted enemies or friends. Not some weird in-between thing...sure it was fun, but now his life was at risk. Might as well play along.
The illusionist stepped into the sick bay. But not like anyone else would, say through the door. Instead the magician walked right out of a medical supply closet. One Remy would clearly have had to see him sneak into. Thank you holo-cubes! But Quentin stepped in right as his illusion did and they melded into one faster than Remy's eyes could follow. Ah, the feeling of a flawless entrance. He shuffled a deck of cards in his hand, making them dance and flip through the air.
