Description: Warren has a small meet and greet where he invites the whole school for some socializing and free catered food.
Rating: PG
If there was something Warren had learned from his mother about hosting a small get together, it was that, no matter how good your personal chef was, people appreciated catered food over what could be provided locally on site. It added that "extra" element. Spared no expense kind of feel. Warren didn't often put the lessons he'd had ingrained into him since a young boy into play, but when he did, he did it well. There was plenty of food for everyone, brought in from Dean & DeLuca.
Angel had only arrived that morning, his bags delivered to his room by his driver, but already he was greeting people in the common area as though he had been there for months, if not years, or that Stark's common area somehow belonged to him and they were the visitors. It was just an air he had about him. A combination of breeding and upbringing that put him confidently where he was. He wanted to get a feel for the place and its people, and to maybe get the awkward part where yes, he was Warren Worthington and yes, he had angel wings, all over with. And it didn't hurt to make some friends; the recent news of the MRA notwithstanding.
Warren made the rounds in a tailored casual gray suit, specially fitted for the large white feathered wings that sprouted from his shoulder blades and were folded lightly against his back like a soft blanketing cape. They shifted as he moved, used to balance his steps as naturally as a bird might, and when he greeted those students he knew from social circles, the wings unfolded just enough so that the polite and friendly hug wouldn't cause them to be in the way.
