The School of Tomorrow sported the best high school library Walter Langkowski had ever seen. In scope and in technology, every corner of the building offered all but the latest achievements that Stark Industries had produced. Row upon row of the best scientific and literary minds, as well as a considerable area for current popular writers and works. However, the great thing about books was that new material was constantly being printed and published, and so it was his task as the new librarian to keep the place cutting-edge. Walt started by clearing out multiple copies of books, and making note of which ones to replace with digital copies as time went on.
As a librarian, Walt had been able to relax his dress code a little, swapping out dress shirts and ties with a few well-knit sweaters and other ensembles. Not that he wanted to look like his father, but because if it was a little less modern and hip, it would not stand out to most students as an attractive ensemble. Whatever it took to send the signal to Howard Stark that Walt was serious. Amara and Holly would laugh at half the things he was making himself wear these days.
Scanning the top shelf, Walt grabbed another book. He enjoyed the feel of a physical book in one's hand, still. There was nothing quite like it. However, Walt also knew that expanding the digital selection would greatly increase the choices and options for students and staff alike. And did they really need half a dozen copies of each of the Twilight series?
He left two on the shelf. Grudgingly. Walking over to the half-filled cart, Walt set the stack down, shaking his head. "Vampire romance is a genre how?" he asked, turning back to look at the aisle.
