Scientists Surprised by Power of Indonesia Tsunami Scientists expressed surprise at the size of the tsunami that devastated the Indonesian city of Palu on Friday, saying an earthquake like the one that preceded it would not necessarily spawn such destructive waves. Many conspiracy theorists suggest that this could be the work of metahumans, but there is no proof that this is the case as of yet.

A new drug in town? There are hints of rumors about a new designer drug spreading across NYC. For non-metas, the high is instant, exciting, and lasts for hours. It has been described by many users as a cross between MDMA and LSD, but with the mellow feeling of THC sprinkled all over. To metas, it seems to have an adverse reaction of making them "go mad." The usage of their power causes them an intense feeling of euphoria that gets stronger the longer and harder they tap into their abilities, but only lasts for around an hour. Other metas have described a total loss of control of their abilities as if they are "turned up to eleven." In both instances, the metas become a danger to both themselves and those around them. Three metas have died from this unknown substance in the last three weeks. No one knows where the drug is coming from or who is selling it.
