Spreading his fingers out and tapping the back of his head with his palms, Toma felt a tug of concern again that she might take him seriously. "Is that a trick question?" Maybe she wasn't in a joking mood -- he couldn't tell, so he added, "I'm not utterly terrified of you. Unless you want me to be."
Stretching out his arms and letting them fall lazily into his lap, Toma slanted his mouth. "Ehhh, he is really slippery, I'll have you know."
