Stretching her arms above her head as she walked through the doorway to the break room, her spine gave a satisfying crack. It was after a long day's work, and Maki was ready to just go home and drop dead. She hasn't felt so completely drained in a while, but while it was a tiring feeling, it was also strangely fulfilling. Maybe that was the reason why some people find being involved in the medical field so meaningful - not because they could save lives, but because, at the end of the day, you have the satisfying feeling of having gotten through the day without the sorrows of deaths.
Yawning, Maki made her way over to her locker, though not before she noticed the roommate ad on the bulletin board, which she makes it her habit to glance at every time she passes it by. The handwriting was recognisable, and so she skimmed through it, laughing to herself. Those idiots, She thought, shaking her head, not failing to notice that there weren't even names or contact details - only, 'two handsome interns'. If their handwriting weren't obvious enough, how Toma had described themselves would have clued her in.
Taking out her phone, she sent them both the same message:
I saw your ad! How come you two didn't ask me to be your roommate? ):
