Hi! Here's the plot calendar for the first two weeks of April. Thanks for your patience! We're going to do it in two week intervals just to help us adapt as necessary given all that's going on.
Here's a couple more timing notes:
The Spring Fling Dance has been moved back one week to April 18th. Pretend it's always been there! This is because we extended April/the game. We anticipate planning and the start of battle logging to begin the May 1st weekend, two weeks out. The game will end at the end of May giving two weeks to tie up loose ends. The comms will remain open for epilogues.
KEY GREEN: CARROWS MOD NOTES
|
FRIDAY APRIL 3RD. Easter begins! The Hogwarts Express departs for King’s Cross in London. (OOC: Yes, this is moved OOCly just so actual Easter in mid-April doesn’t ruin the flow.) The train will return Tuesday morning with classes resuming Wednesday. APRIL 4TH. Daily Prophet article featuring Reeve of Magical Edwinstowe Marius Goyle and the repatriation of magical land in his village. APRIL 5TH. Easter Sunday. In the evening Harry Potter is taken to Malfoy Manor where things happen. After his escape with the prisoners at Malfoy Manor, the Dark Lord is very furious! By Tuesday all Death Eaters will know he’s in an extremely bad mood, and this fear and pressure should be noticeable even with Death Eaters in good standing. APRIL 6TH. Death Eaters go after the Weasley family. Ginny will get a message out via the journals to the DA about this, but this is the last time they’ll hear from her until the battle. APRIL 7TH. The Hogwarts Express departs from King’s Cross Station to return to Hogwarts. At dinner that night the Carrows are in an atrocious mood, and are nursing some injuries. Two sixth year students get detention for ‘talking too loudly’ at dinner from Amycus. APRIL 8TH. In Charms class, a fed up Professor Flitwick teaches some defensive shield charms citing that they’re, in fact, charms. That evening he’s no longer sitting at the staff table and won’t return until the following week on April 13th. APRIL 9TH. IC/OOC for DADA. The Daily Prophet mentions the attempted arrest of Augusta Longbottom. Augusta Longbottom is now a wanted fugitive. APRIL 11TH. A skirmish between Death Eaters and members of the Order of the Phoenix results in the death of a Death Eater. APRIL 13TH. Neville Longbottom receives a howler at breakfast. The Carrows are still furious, and even more pissed at the howler. They will contact the Knights on the journals about a crackdown. Beginning this week the Prefects and Knights will be expected to step up more - every instance of rule-breaking should be clamped down on, and those who were consistently in trouble watched even more closely. They would like the Knights to pay particular attention to Neville Longbottom. The school should begin to feel very oppressive. We encourage players to log as well to show these interactions and ramp up antagonism! APRIL 14TH. After nodding to Neville Longbottom and Hannah Abbott, her two favourite students, Professor Sprout gives a whole lesson about healing plants such as Dittany. APRIL 16TH. Professor Slughorn gives a robust lesson on various methods of counteracting poisons from bezoars to various potions and ingredients. APRIL 17TH. IC/OOC for Muggle Studies. APRIL 18TH. IC/OOC for the Spring Fling Dance. |
