Reasons are good
Clive had no idea who Tom was, but it was not like him to ignore a greeting. The warmness of the stranger brought an instant beaming smile to his face, and he eagerly shook the guys hand. "Mhm! It's great, everyone's showing up! The Ministry can't ignore us after this!" There was so much naive hope in his eyes it was adorable. "Clive Wood's my the name. I've been helping James - you know, James Potter - with setting up and making sure everyone knows about it." His excitement combined with his tendency to talk really fast made him almost difficult to understand.
"I love your sign! Did you make it or did someone else make it for you?" He asked. "I made one but my partner is holding it. It doesn't look very good but I'm not very good at art stuff. I have a sister who is good at art. Her sign is amazing!" He looked around a moment so see if he could spot the multi-coloured painted sign from his location, though the crowd was too dense. "How did you find out about this? Was is the posters? The fliers?" He'd managed to get the word out to a lot of people, and he had hoped that they had spread the news out themselves, to people like Tom.
