"Its very rare, but a human can be a host for several days. There's one instance in a future ship named Enterprise, where the host was injured, and so the Symbiont was temporarily transferred to a human. It's not sustainable, it would kill both if it went on too long, but in an emergency it worked." Jadzia looked thoughtful.
