Who: Bobbi Morse & Mara Jade
Where: Holodeck
What: Sparring
When: Not long after Mara's post
Rating: TBD
Status: Incomplete

Bobbi wished Hunter or Iz were were so she could fangirl at them briefly. She knew logically that there were other fictional people here. They were in the Star Trek Universe after all but realising that Mara Jade was here did her head in briefly. She had always loved the movies and had read the books multiple times. Mara had appealed to her because of how strong and independent she was but also her backstory. Meeting her was kind of amazing. She had kept a level head - thank you SHIELD training - and hadn't said anything she would regret for which she was thankful for.

She had agreed with Mara that it was hard being in one place for so long. The holodeck did help but it wasn't exactly the same. They could pretend to be anywhere in the world - or anywhere in general for that matter - and do whatever they wanted but in the end they were still onboard the Enterprise.

Bobbi was glad to have this chance to spar with the other woman. Not only would it perhaps teach her something new - she imagined that Mara would have a lot of skills and while she enjoyed sparring with May she was familiar with the other woman's style - though she wouldn't turn down any chance to spar. She needed to keep fit and it gave her something to do.

Dressed in sweatpants and a sports bra she turned up to the Holodeck and loaded a basic gym with sparring equipment for them, slightly before the agreed upon time.

[OOC: I am SO SORRY this tag is so late. Life took a shit on me, then when I was about to come up for air, it took another shit on me. Again, I'm so sorry about this!!!]

Mara was trying to adjust to life here, and it wasn't always easy. But having another sparring partner was never a terrible thing. So she was more than ready to see what Bobbi had to offer. Pitting herself against other fighters would only help keep her own skills sharp, and perhaps she could even pick up a few new tricks. She wasn't above taking such things to use to her advantage later on down the line.

Her training with Lomea was intense in and of itself, but that was more focused on reawakening the Force within her, not just honing skills. That part would undoubtedly come into play more if they were able to unlock her connection to the Force again. While she'd grown accustomed to not having it, it still felt wrong to her. She missed that connection, and using it to augment her fighting style.

She arrived at the holodeck, long red hair pulled into a ponytail, and clad in all black. It was the same suit that she'd been wearing when she'd shown up here. She still wore the belt, but the holster for her blaster was empty. Her lightsaber also was missing. She'd broken down her lightsaber into pieces so she could carry it with her at times, but right now she'd left it behind in her room. She didn't like being without it, but that was just the assassin training in her talking.

"Hello," she said in greeting. While she was obviously fit, Mara was also rather short. Though she liked it that way, it tended to give her the element of surprise when people underestimated her because of her height.

ooc: hey it's totally cool! i'm not much better >.>

Bobbi had just finished stretching and was running a lap around the holodeck when she heard the doors opened to reveal, who she assumed was Mara. She didn't see why anyone else would turn up here especially dressed as she was. She was shorter than she expected but Bobbi knew better than to underestimate her. The lady, was certainly fit. She reminded her of May in some ways though they looked nothing alike.

"Hey, you must be Mara? I'm Bobbi," she said with a smile jogging up to the woman. "Thanks for agreeing to join me," she added.

"How did you want to do this?" she asked curiously. "I'm happy with whatever."

[OOC: Stupid life. And then I've had two colds in the past three weeks, and I'm so done and need things to stop.]

Mara gave a nod in confirmation when the other woman came over to greet her. "Of course. I do not make a habit of turning down opportunities to put my skills to use." There was little doubt that Bobbi had different fighting skills than Mara did, so she was curious to see what she could pick up from her and encompass into her own style.

"Hand-to-hand. Obviously no intent to injure. Defeats the purpose of sparring." Not to mention that would probably earn a trip to the brig or something.

ooc: sorry to hear that! i get stupid life though

"I get that, I'm always happy to do it too. Not only does it keep my skills up it's a great way to meet people," she said with a smile.

"That works and I agree. While they're certainly better at healing things here than at home it's certainly not worth getting injured over. Did you still need to warm up?" she asked.
