Marian toasted Kate with her drink and took a sip before setting it down and nodding her head. It really did seem like there was no preference either way, especially if her own husband used them interchangeably.
Which amused her. She chuckled, "You know, I don't think Fenris ever once called me Marian. Not even during more intimate times. Wherein he preferred to remain silent rather than be vulnerable for longer than three minutes."
Then she added, "I'll probably end up calling you Beckett. We can be the 'surname' twins."
